Jason Terry attends Sports Profiles 1st Annual
Dallas Sports Fan Choice Awards on Aug 21 2008 @
the Westin Galleria in Dallas, TX. He was
presented with the Commitment to Excellence
awards for all of his hard work on and off the
court in the Dallas communities.
Jason also received the Courage Award from the
Dallas All Sports Association on September 2nd
at the The Fairmont Hotel in Dallas.
The Dallas All Sports Association is a
philanthropic organization founded in 1965 by
Dallas businessman Field Scovell whose love of
sports was only exceeded by his love of the
Dallas community.
In founding DASA, Scovell envisioned a special
organization, philanthropic in nature, created
to award recognition and scholarship grants to
deserving individuals and other deserving
groups. -

held in Frisco, Texas August 11-15th open to boys and girls, ages 5-14.

held in Tucson Arizona July 14-18 at Pima
Community College-West Campus.
Camp is open to boys and girls, ages 8-18. Check
back often as session times have not yet been

Donation to Gilda's Club When the Dallas Mavericks hit the court this
season, Gilda’s Club had a special reason to
join the thousands of fans who were cheering them on.
Each time Mavericks’ guard Jason Terry attempted
a three-pointer it potentially meant hundreds of
dollars in donations for Gilda’s Club North
Texas, thanks to some very generous donors who
teamed up to support North Texans
living with cancer. -
